Schedule History Edit

The WXXI Schedule remained as the same original PBS Kids Go! Schedule upon it's launch on May 5, 2008. Caillou and Thomas and Friends were added to the block on May 26, 2008, replacing Square One Television, South Park and 3-2-1 Classroom Contact. on August 4, 2008, The Magic School Bus was removed and replaced with a brand new series of Animalia.

on September 1, 2008, The WXXI Schedule on PBS Kids Go! launched its new fall season. South Park returned and Martha Speaks, Cyberchase, Word Girl and ZOOM were added to the block, replacing Simpsons, Family Guy and Futurama. on September 15, 2008, Wishbone was removed from the block and Boohbah was added.

on October 27, 2008, Jakers and Ghostwriter left the schedule, the original 1999 series, South Park replaced them, as well as a double airing Fetch! With Ruff Ruffman.

on December 1, 2008, one of the South Park's slots was replaced with a sneak preview of The Electric Company.

on Janurary 19, 2009, South Park and Libtery's Kids will removed from schedule while Jay Jay the Jet Plane, Bob the Builder, Noddy and TEC (2009) were added.

on Feburary 9, 2009, Fetch! was replaced by a double airing of Peep/Pocoyo

on September 7, 2009, Little Einstiens, Dora the Explorer and Blue's Clues was added.

Programming Edit

In 2005, PBS announced that, in May 2008, a 24-hour digital multicast network called PBS Kids Go! on WXXI Channel would be launched with additional content, including an evening "Go! Family" block targeted at both children and their families and a Spanish language-programming block.
